Laura Stagno

Laura Stagno is a Venezuelan artist and Illustrator majored in Painting and Graphic Arts (Armando Reverón Art Institute, Caracas) and mastered in Animation (Musashino Art University, Tokyo). Recently settled in Barcelona, Spain. She lived many years in Tokyo, Japan, and has a passion for Japanese culture, paper and patterns. Laura has illustrated a dozen of children’s books and worked as the exclusive illustrator of a Design Studio in Tokyo for a long time. She creates her illustrations with paper cuts, prints of textured objects, materials and all kinds of patterns. Now she is engaged in a new illustration children’s book with an Australian editorial, and is looking forward to collaborating with a team in an Animation project in Barcelona.
